Chad le Clos announced today that he has joined international swimming club, Energy Standard.
Founded in 2012, Energy Standard Club is a unique project uniting athletes and coaches from around the world with a aim of developing young aspiring swimmers to become Olympic champions. It is committed to winning major international medals while promoting growth in the participation of swimming.
Chad commented “I’m pleased to announce that I have joined Energy Standard Club. The club aims to be the number one swimming club in the world, and I share the values that the club is based on and look forward to representing them.”
James Gibson, Head Coach of Energy Standard Club, said “We are extremely happy to welcome Chad into our team and to be supporting him on his journey to Tokyo.”
Andrea Di Nino, Senior Advisor of Energy Standard Club, said “Chad is a not only a great athlete, but a great mentor and role model. His work ethic and attitude will help to inspire the younger generations in the team. We are very happy with to have him join Energy Standard.”

As announced recently, Chad will be guided by new head coach, Andrea di Nino, and performance manager, Bobby Hurley.
